Born and raised in Scotland quite a few years ago, Sue became involved with horses from an early age. Her first riding lesson was at 3 years old and that started a life long love affair with all things horse and the country lifestyle.
Answering the call of the not so Wild West, Sue moved to Canada in 1977 and joined the Calgary Real Estate Board in 1978. With the first few years spent selling all types of residential property throughout Calgary, Sue gained lots of experience and even became skilled at driving on the other side of the road.
One day Sue took a drive to the Bragg Creek area and fell in love with this special place. This was the Canada she had dreamt about. It was easy to explain her passion for the area to potential clients and this led to many sales. Horses introduced her to many other country places and she expanded her business to include acreages, land and ranches.
Sue has been active for many years in the Bragg Creek Community and served as President of the Bragg Creek Community Association for several years. She also volunteers with the Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
In 2013, after over 35 years of a very successful real estate career, it was time for a break. Sue divided her time between managing a land development plan and riding and driving her horses.
Now in 2021, it is time to come back to the profession in which she excels. Sue thrives on being able to help sellers sell their properties and find buyers for that country home that fills all their wish list boxes.
There are so many things to consider when making the move from city living to country life.
Buyers wonder:
These are a small snap shot of questions that need to be answered for the new country buyer. I have lived here for almost 40 years and can answer those questions with confidence and local experiences.
